lyn4.jpgIberian Lynx

The lynx's are getting caught in snares and traps. The traps however are not always meant for the lynx. Also the rabbit is the main source food for the lynx but epidemics are killing the rabbits which is another main reason why the lynx is an endangered species. They need to start the captive breeding program and they're trying to move the animals to recover isolated communities.

Giant Pandagiant-panda-china-big.jpg

The giant panda also is an endangered species because they only eat bamboo. Every ten years or so the bamboo stops growing for a period of time and many of the pandas die.

Ajuga chamaepity's is a type of ground pine which is a small plant with narrow, hairy leaves and little flowers. To grow, this plant needs to be in chalk soil which is found on steep downland. The reason they are endangered is because there habitat is being smothered by other plants and also people are using herbicides and fertilizers.
